I would recommend you check the place you're hiking/camping in to see if dogs are allowed. If so, I don't see why you shouldn't bring her along. It'll be a great trip for her, and it can be a great time for you to bond with her. Just be sure she's leashed at all times so that she can't run away from you or bolt if she gets scared.
References :
Take it! I go camping regularly and always take my dog, she loves it. She was just 3 months old the first time we went.I have a long line (10m) and a stake for whilst at the campsite and keep him on a lead whilst hiking until he has a perfect recall. Have fun!
References :
If you do, put her on a harness that fits... it's harder to slip out of then a collar... because if she gets lost it's gonna be hard to get her back...

I plan on hiking the Appalachian trail with my dog, but I wouldn't hike with her until she's better trained (I've only had her four weeks)...

However, I also wouldn't want to abandon her this fast at a kennel.. she might stop trusting you. Keeping that in mind, I would take her with me... but take a photo and make sure she's got all her tags and vaccines (the photo is in case she gets lost). That's normal precautions. You might also want to get a copy of her health certificates in case someone (like a campsite director or a park ranger) wants to make sure. They can kick you out if you can't prove she's healthy...
Oh, and actually make sure she's allowed! There are lots of places people are allowed to hike and dogs aren't!

Have fun!
References :
Don't count on the dog staying with you out in the woods with all kinds of exciting sights and smells. You really need to keep her on a leash the whole time. Also consider the climate where you will be going, if its extremely hot it may be better to leave her at home. Hiking for long periods could be tiring for your dog if she is not used to it.

But if you can work out the details and she's up to it then have fun
References :
Two thoughts -

Double check where you are going and make sure dogs are allowed.

Keep her on a leash at all times since you still don't know her all that well yet. You don't want her to run off after an animal or not follow a command because she is not reliable with you yet.
References :
You are considering the right factors. My advice: Take her, but keep her on a leash (a long one in camp). Check with a vet or good pet store about flea and tick -- especially tick -- protection before you go. If she is a barker, please don't camp near anyone else.
References :
Sounds like a swell idea, what breed is it? Remember instinct might kick in (hunting dogs:beagles..ect). Stop by the vet and see what you can buy there, bug repellent little shoes so she wont hurt her pads, and other things she might need and what the vet might recommend, and also has she had her rabies shot??

Microchip it in case she runs off.
References :
as long as the dog has had its shots and everything i'd take it

it'll have a great time!

if you are worried about it running off keep it on a leash when walking, and on the camp site or whatever keep it on one of those 20ft leashes
