The Smokes are easy …
The Smokes are easy, compared to the what was south of there. But you bring up a good point, why waste time on a thu-hike of the AT when there are better trails to thru hike, like the PCT which you hiked. This is something those with just those 6 months for a hike to consider …….. you want to hang in the bar or get the most wilderness from you trip ….. your choice.
