Q: I’m starting to begin training for a hike in May. I’m taking my Black Lab with me. She’s 65lbs, I’ve been trying to find a dog pack to fit her. I’ve read that the backpacks that Petsmart sell are of poor quailty. I need to know where I can find a pack for her that’s afforable.
A: Foster & Smith probably has some available on their website. Most items they sell are good quality. Also, I wouldn’t automatically be against the ones from PetSmart. Actually go and evaluate them, yourself.

Added: Maybe not the cheapest, but reputed to be very durable.

i bought some great ones from the eddie baur line at target a while back im sure if you google it though you willl find some good ones! i think mine were about 10-15 bucks each!

Pets mart has alot of good ones, we got one for my Akita, Koda and he has no problems with the fit, they have several to choose from and wont rob you like foster and smith does. and foster and smith wont ship unless you have $50.00 or more, they like to rob people. and the products do not last, trust me, I use to order from them, and their dog products do not last for the price they charge.

WAGS has alot of dog stuff that a lot of stores dont carry.. try them

I’m sure that Cabelas has some that are good quality at a reasonable price. They have a lot of dog supplies for hiking, hunting and etc. Post a comment
